And they were completely indifferent to my situation, which isn't surprising given they didn't understand the value of my item. I wasn't allowed to go back and reclaim my bag because they had already taken it. The overheads were empty above my own seat. Cons: "In their rush to leave, they didn't communicate with the on board crew about overhead bins and I was forced to check a priceless item that I purposely wanted with me in the cabin.
